Eat for Opportunity

All day long, 10% of all sales will be donated to the Whatcom Homeless Service Center, a program of the Opportunity Council. Eat for Opportunity, and know that a significant portion of your meal will go towards supporting someone who is homeless with a new opportunity.
Supporting the Whatcom Homeless Service Center can be as easy as ordering catfish on Thursday, February 1.
Bayou on Bay is kicking off a new monthly initiative to help end homelessness in Whatcom County. On the first Thursday of every month, 10% of all sales from lunch, dinner and happy hour will be donated to the Whatcom Homeless Service Center, a program of the Opportunity Council. “Eat for Opportunity” during lunch, dinner or happy hour, and help support new opportunities for those dealing with homelessness.
The Whatcom Homeless Service Center coordinates housing resources in Whatcom County, creating a centralized and accessible way to link services with those needing them. Their mission is to build relationships to end homelessness through advocacy, systems change and strategic partnerships.
